Keep your time and staff time focused on direct patient care.   Let Tarevo and Med BOSS provide support services at a fraction of what it would cost to hire and pay staff to remain on-site.  We can answer calls and route them to your desired number, or take messages and text them to the dedicated provider, or we can handle the call itself leaving your time to be used for patient care and maintaining a work-life balance.   Our Call Center staff follow scripts provided by you so we act as an extension of your practice and they don’t even know they are talking to the call center.

Our Call Center Staff can process all types of calls.  Scheduling services is one of the most popular services requested by our solo practitioners.   This allows the Staff to take calls and schedule appointments for you even when you are in session or out of the office taking a much needed vacation day.   We follow your protocol to schedule appointments by type and the amount of time you want to dedicate to that appointment type.  If you need to cancel appointments for an emergency, JUST CALL US!

Our Call Center Staff can also complete new patient registrations including sending out welcome letters, registration forms, HIPAA/Privacy Practices and Treatment Consent forms.  We set up the accounts to allow emails, text messages, and send out invitations to access the patient portal if desired.  When we register a new patient we also complete the initial insurance eligibility verification and update the patient profile as need.   With patient cooperation, this can all be completed BEFORE coming in for care.

As a part of our new patient registration our billing team will confirm insurance verification, upload front and back copies of insurance forms and ID.   We update the billing notes and the insurance profile to allow the creation of clean claims and for front desk staff and providers can see what needs to be collected at the time of service.  This is one of the most critical steps to insure proper payments are received.

By developing our EMR automations and ensuring our staff are well trained, we are able to provide claims processing services at a highly competitive rate for a much more robust and comprehensive service.  Unlike other billing companies Tarevo ensures the claim is accepted and approved by the Clearinghouse and the Payer.  We make sure it Gets Paid!  If errors occur, we automatically pursue and correct the error and resubmit the claim for Payment on your behalf.   If needed we call the patient, or call the clinician, or call the BOSS!  We DO NOT dump it back on the practice.  We FIX IT whenever possible.

As staff collects payments, as billing processes online payments and as ERA’s are received or EOB’s are  scanned to billing, we apply all funds of all types to the patients accounts.   Usually this is within 24 hours.  This will ensure that  when the patient next comes in for a follow up appointment you can know their accounts are current and accurate.   This step is critically important if you are using the system to calculate provider payroll.  We ensure all payments are posted on the last day of the month by midnight.  

We don’t usually see a  lot of denials 60-90 days after implementation and once all set up and payer enrollments are completed.   However, if one is received we make any necessary corrections and submit a corrected claim unless an appeal is required.   If an appeal is required we complete the appeal, attach any required documentation and  submit it on your behalf.  If medical or clinical information is needed we contact to office or the provider.
